Australian handset available by Christmas

Postby Rolaveric » Sun Nov 09, 2008 11:55 pm

Very few details at the moment but it looks like Australians will finally get some love in the Android Handset department.
AND it's from an Australian owned company (I honestly didn't think we had any manufacturers left..).

I think..make that hope the price of $199AU is just an optimistic early estimate made to get people's attention.
Otherwise it's likely to be missing some key features or made from shotty parts.
But it's a step in the right direction at least.

How are they going to address the issue of no keyboard when Android doesn't have a soft keyboard available. Could we see the first modified version of Android on a handset?
