In 2010, he was dropped as a presenter at the Oscars, after he allegedly planned to poke fun at film Avatar by dressing up as one of its characters - a blue-skinned, female Na'vi - and revealing to the audience that 'she' was pregnant with Cameron's love child.
Show bosses feared he would drive Avatar director James Cameron to storm out of the ceremony so they axed the sketch and Baron Cohen was dumped from his first ever Oscars appearance.
