Spam posts

Postby benny! » Tue Sep 21, 2010 4:32 am

Hi (plusminus),

what can we do against all those spam posts? They are really annoying and I think they destroy the forum. There must be something like adding captures when creating an account and/or new topic to block those spams.

What do you think?

Best,

Thanks for answering.

Bah, that's sad. Are there any good alternatives concerning dev orientated android development (english) besides the android mailing lists ?

Guess I will leave this board, too - since I find those spam really annoying.

Yah .. I saw this forum before. Looks quite OK - although it seems to be cover a wide range of non-development related topics. I do not like that. In addition, the board structure seems to be too broad.

Hmm ... really a shame that +/- left. No one else here with admin rights to do something against that spam posts???

There should be an inner-circle of hell reserved for spammers. I do it myself, but at least my spam is witty and related to the topic at hand!

What can I say? I'm *GOOD*

We've spent billions of dollars and countless hours of manpower trying to create computers that can mimic human beings...meanwhile, I have already perfected the art of mimicking a computer :D

Spam is a robot posts biggest problem facing any Web site owner.A robot is an automated program, presented in different forms website. The best way you can get out of this robot is a verification code. When I ban a user, there is no way to use "ban user and delete all previous posts" that is SO annoying! ;-(
