What lens to use for portrait photography using my olympus e510.? I would like to purchase a lens for good portrait photography for my Olympus e510. I currently only have the 14-42mm that came with the camera. I would like to spend around $500-$700 for the lens. Also, do I need to purchase an external flash? Any help or suggestions?

I would think the 70-105mm zoom was, therefore, an ideal lens for portrait work. I just love portrait photography. I am just starting out, I have done an engagement shoot, a senior portrait shoot, and a family & frinds shoot. These were all outdoors. I did one couple shoot indoors. Right now I'm just using natural light, or a gary fong lightsphere, which I love.
