My "day job" is working as a programmer at a game development studio, which I've been doing for about 6 years now. We use C/C++ exclusively, and some C# for tools. I'm looking forward to learning a new language, a new platform, and getting to write apps for my phone! The idea of a little hand-held device that is a portal to the entire Internet is really a kick. Cheers! 8)

Hi! I'm Francesco from Italy.

I'm finishing the University and working on Android for my graduation thesis: I have to integrate a Sun SPOT's based project with Android, the project is about activity recognition using accelerometer and location-based informations.

Hi there

Postby Superted » Wed Aug 26, 2009 3:02 pm

I'm a developer from the Netherlands,
I have used a lot of languages: assembly(680x0 / 80x86), basic, vb, vba,, c, c++, c#, pascal, and probably some others.. Sad thing is I'm no expert at any of those languages and get the ones I do use regularly confused at times..
I'm currently coding for Android as a hobby/indy developer, and switched from C# to because I switched jobs..

Hello. I am a programmer by education but am currently working as a QA Analyst in Manhattan. It has been some time since I have been actively writing code besides putting together some small but nice Ruby work-related scripts.

Upon the arrival of my beautiful, white Android I am now beginning to prepare for coding for this great platform (I am new to Java though and am stepping through tutorials at this time.) I will need some help though

I'm a student from University of Waterloo in Canada.

My last team project was finding the 3D coordinates of the tip of a physical wand and using it to draw 3D paintings. I recently purchased an HTC Magic and want to make things for it.

From Atlanta, brand-spanking new to developing anything, let alone for Android.

Have a friend who teaches "special-needs" kids at a local school, trying to develop an app for him that teaches his kids how to take a city bus back and forth to school, the store, etc. etc.
