yesterday we had a downtime of about 10 minutes where we added some custom Anti-Spam-Registration stuff.
It seems to work really fine.

We did that, because there were about 30 (!) Spam-Registrations per day and it sucked to remove them all by hand.

Site seems up and down today as well..
Today and yesterday I've had trouble even getting the site to resolve in my browser let alone bring it up.

it's not our fault

HTTP delay sucks hard (seconds to minutes sometimes ), even FTP has a couple of seconds delay o_O
Just ICMP-Packets are running fine.

Provider already contacted

Actually one of the issues I had without reading the error was to do with the post with "lvl0" in the subject line.

I get this:

The page isn't redirecting properly

Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.

* This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept
cookies.

we'll fix that!
Problem are the "^" in the subject which lead to problems with the "nicer"-url-mod.

Server problems said to be gone 1,5 hours after my email
