Looking for DIY gadget kits like

This one is from miniinthebox, but have no experience with them. They say free shipping under 50 bucks will take like 15-30 days, which I can understand since they ship from China, but who has done this (I live in the US)? Also, will US customs charge me? The order is just 5 bucks, so I’d rather not be charged… Who knows?
