this morning the worlds largest exhibition for mobile devices, the Mobile World Congress 2008 in Barcelona, opened its doors. Especially device manufacturers are receiving the first rush of the day - people obviously want to see upcoming hardware, many of them probably devices capable of running Android.

A first walk shows up the trends of this year: Touchscreens as far as one can see, gps-navigation is also very likely. Another trend seems to navigate through websites and menus using a small touchpad instead of the common joysticks. Website Navigation should be made simplified by this. But many manufactures have still cloaked their showcases to reveal their goodies over the course of the day.
