Google I/O - Learn From The Best (Android, AJAX, Social,...)

Postby plusminus » Tue Mar 11, 2008 9:16 am

Hello Community,

tonight I received an invitation to the Google I/O, but as we all know that life sucks, I cannot afford a transatlantic flight  (I'm awaiting a bit of common frustration here ;) )

The event takes place in San Francisco on May 28-29 (two full days).

Google I/O is focused on pushing the boundaries of web applications using Google and open web technologies. Google engineers and web development experts will lead two full days of in-depth breakout sessions, hands-on Code Labs, and informal Q&A at Fireside Chats.

Topic areas include AJAX & Javascript, Maps & Geo, Social applications, APIs & Tools, and Mobile. Whether you're interested in OpenSocial, Android, Google Web Toolkit (GWT), Gears, or any number of other products, you'll easily find sessions to benefit from.

You can learn more about Google I/O and register here:

Space is limited, so be sure to register ASAP.
The fees vary from $50 (Student) to $400 (normal attendee).

I hope someone gets the chance/time/money to go there :)
