yesterday I've had a trip to the CeBit with some fellow students. The CeBit is the most significant fair for digital industry. I though you may be interested in some impressions I made there.
But first of all I have to say that it was a bit disappointing, because:
a.) there was nothing about Android
and ... b.) it was more like a huge commercial party (which we should have been awaiting).
But let the images speak... (Expect EEPC, OLPC, LumaLive, etc...)
This is a ultra-portable notebook... with 3 TFT screens and only 20 kilos of weight ^^.
The guy said like: "Its lighter than a PC with 3 separate screens."

Almost every stand promoted flash-sticks and SSD-drives(up to 128GB), I saw like a trillion of these next-gen products. Waterproof, high capacity and super performance.

This is a really cool thing, called "Optimus Maximus". It is a fully featured QWERTY-Keyboard with a tiny OLED screen behind each of the 113 keys! Keystrokes felt not perfect but it looked really cool.
Its small brother "Optimus mini three" with only 3 bigger keys.

The EEEPc powered by Asus.

The 'old' 7" EEPC, running windows and adapted 3G-connection (in the left)
The new EEEPc with an 8.9" Screen and 1GB DDR2 Memory

More shots of the EEEPc running WindowsXP

Some additional HardWare for the EEEPc (like an AccessPoint, GPS-DOngle and a 3G Dongle)

A standalone dummy, promoting Phillips LumaLive LED-textiles. I need this
when it will be available... somewhen...
It was running absolutely fluent and even well visible, being directly spotlighted.

The OLPC is a damn cool laptop, which you probably heard of before.
The display is simply amazing! Being folded to tablet-mode it switches to gray, being extremely good visible even when being hold 10cm before a strong spotlight. The secret behind is a reflective background. The whole device was made for children and therefore is extremely robust:
The guy slammed his fist hardly right onto the display and we were all like
... but nothing happened
Another thing you might not have heard of is, that the microphone-port is/can be used for physical experiments. Here a 1$ microphone was directly plugged in.

Also there is an external crank, which makes you 'online' for about 6x times more you have to workout.

I hope you liked these impressions
