I just found this really nice G1-video on the net:

Why is everything smooth in this video like an iPhone, but in other videos web page scrolling and zooming is a little choppy.

Did they fix it, or was it never broken. I guess some ppl posting videos comparing the two might be purposely skewing the videos for the iPhone.

I hope Google can remedy the bad G1 videos somehow.

Well I can't wait to get one.

I think the browser-zooming is still not 100% smooth

Anyway I don't think that it will annoy me.

I don't like the zooming buttons of the browser very much, but I just love the looking glass, that is awsome! Tough, the zoom buttons could be handy if you want to zoom in on details of a picture on a site.

Yeah the magnifying glass is awesome, hope it also uses great
I also love the login screen, we can see pretty few in the videos

What login screen? Haven't seen any yet.


[edit]Oh, you mean the connect the dots screen? Yeah it's awsome, But I hope then give us 16 instead of 9 dots, so we have a lot more possible combinations available.

Yes, probably 50% would have a 'G' as the unlock-pattern

Really nice video. From my point of view and after using the iPhone for quite a longe time the UI is faster than on the iPhone. But you're right the browser is quite choppy but I'm pretty sure that this will change in upcoming releases. For a version 1 Android is really really great.
