Android on Freescale i.MX31 (almost fully running)

Postby plusminus » Tue Dec 11, 2007 11:51 pm

Hello Community,

I found this interesting information on k-tai.impress.co.jp (Japanese !), showing Android running on an Freescale i.MX31 (532 MHz ARM.11) Reference/Development-Board.

The demo (started by WILLCOM ?) was supposed to show the multi-tasking features of the Android Platform, as you can see in pic.4 that a phone-call is started while browsing the Map-Activity.

As far as the page could be translated, even the SIM is recognized (pic.2 vs pic.3) and a phone-call could be started (pic.4) :!:

Surely it couldn't be too hard to get it running on a GP32? :)
