Hello Community,

[Update]
And the winner is: :src: http://groups.google.com/...
[/Update]

PowerGUI from dotphone.org opened a Fund for projects that did not win a prize in the first Android Developer Challenge. His idea is simple:
  1. Browse this thread  http://groups.google.com/...
  2. Vote for an application you think that deserves a Android DotPhone Hardware Development Board with GSM/GPRS and GPS module. (Worth $600)
  3. Every 25 Votes a board will be sent out to the most voted project
Maybe you can afford further funding this idea, contact :src: powergui123 {AT} gmail {DOT} com.

This is PowerGUI's official announcement:
Hi everybody,

First, best Wishes to All Winners. :)

I want to setup up an ADC NotWinner Fund.

The goal of the Fund is to encourage the ADC NotWinner who has done a great job,or who moved you very much, and etc.
The gift is Android DotPhone Hardware Development Board with GSM/GPRS and GPS module.
As a startup,I want to donate some Android Evaluation Board to the funds from my personal donation. If there are some people or company will sponsor, the more Android Evaluation Board will be sent out to the Android Developers.

The rule will be voting somebody(of course yourself,no problem) with a brief reason. If more Development Board is waiting to send out, then the voted man and vote man all has the opportunity. Maybe we will have another form of gifts besides dotphone development board in the future.

I think develop android on real hardware is a exciting things, wish the android dotphone deveopment board will be the best gifts for our ADC NotWinner!

How about your comments and suggestions?if there are many people agree with this fund,I will run it shortlty after now.any feedbacks will be appreciated.

Best Regards
PowerGUI

Congratulations-- it's a very interesting and potentially useful application, unlike some of the fluff applications that made it into the official ADC winner's list.

I look forward to seeing AndNav on Android phones soon!

:) Thanks to hear that.
(Just today I added Favorites/Recent-Destinations)

Unfortunately the kit I won is to slow to run Android itself. (Emulator feels ~20 times faster)
