Android Development Plugin for NetBeans ?

Postby plusminus » Tue Dec 25, 2007 12:44 am

Hello Community,

I found the following nice news for NetBeans-IDE-Lovers ;) who do not really like Eclipse ^^.
There is an unofficial NetBeans-IDE-Plugin for the Android Platform coming up :!:

Project Description:
The primary objective is to provide a set of Netbeans modules, that allow the development of Java applications for the Android platform. I think it is a good idea to get Android fully supported in Netbeans. This means that the user experience is quite similar to normal J2SE and other supported mobile Java platforms. In the current screenshots you can see, how some special parts look like. I am going to ship the Android plugin asap, ... But be patient. -) It is still work in progress, a full featured integration consist of few more modules. -) the current SDK licence does not permit to ship Netbeans specific SDK patches.
