WDP functionality

Postby joaosauer » Mon Nov 16, 2009 12:23 pm

Hi,

I'm having some issues about WDP on the emulator and maybe you can help me.
I'm trying to get an intent of the WDP message but is not working. I'm not 100% sure where is the problem. Could be in the Simulation of the WDP or in intercept made in the code.
Until I understood, my intent-filter should be "android.provider.Telephony.DATA_SMS_RECEIVED_ACTION" once that WAP_PUSH_RECEIVED_ACTION is for a specific port and I will need to choice my port.

But my intercept is never called.
What I'm trying to do is generate a command in the telnet like: sms pdu 0000000...(sorry, I'm not allowed to show this command) where I'm generate a WDP message. My emulator notify me about this message, but no calls to my WDP intercept is made.

these are the piece of code that I'm using:
Syntax: [ Download ] [ Hide ]
Using java Syntax Highlighting
  1.         BroadcastReceiver wdpReceiver = new BroadcastReceiver()
  2.
  3.         {
  4.
  5.                 @Override
  6.
  7.                 public void onReceive(Context context, Intent intent)
  8.
  9.                 {
  10.
  11.                         //Code that is never called!
  12.
  13.                 }
  14.
  15.         };
  16.
  17.         public int WDPStartIntercepting()
  18.
  19.         {
  20.
  21.                 registerReceiver(wdpReceiver, new IntentFilter("android.provider.Telephony.DATA_SMS_RECEIVED_ACTION"));
  22.
  23.         }
  24.
  25.
Parsed in 0.032 seconds, using GeSHi 1.0.8.4

Did anyone used WDP intercept? if yes, do you have any examples of how the pdu should be? Or at least show me a way to understand why my BroadCastReceiver is never called?

Thanks a lot,
Joao
