Very basic question about networking

Postby pickle » Mon Oct 06, 2008 3:36 pm

I'm trying to put together a network remote for MythTV. It's basically a gui for a telnet client. I know telnet has been asked about before and people have been pointed to zaTelnet. I've checked out zaTelnet and have two problems with it.
1) It's way overkill for what I'm trying to accomplish
2) I can't get it anywhere near compiling on the 1.0rc1 SDK.

If anyone can help me out with sending a simple command over telnet I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks.
