post a file bundle to a server ?

Postby aneuryzma » Sat Jan 09, 2010 11:03 am

Hi,

I need to send gps coordinates + some text + image to the server in one httpURLConnection. At the moment, I'm my android client is succesfully posting an image to the servlet and this image is saved in the filesystem.

Should I create a zip file and add the image and text to it, and send it to the server. Can I decompress the zip file with java ?

thanks
