how to store the Date in database SQLite

I use UNIX format (secs since jan 1970) as this is usable with java objects as well as c++ on pc (my data gets two-way-synced between pc and android, so i need a format that is handy for both platforms)

I am working on WindowsXp..... I want to store the birth date into database ... how can i..????
plz help me...

Since a birthday is likely to be before 1970, you shouldnt use the secs approach.
Use a string field instead; if you have to do calculations with that date, parse the data into your calendar/date whatever object while fetching rows.
