After making connection to th gtalk server, I want to start a sub activity in which I'll list contacts and manage presence... I need the variable "XMPPConnection connection" to accomplish this task.

How my I pass that variable to the sub activity? and if it's impossible, is there an other solution?

My solution is to start a service which makes the connection to gtalk server and share informations with activities.
