Can any body help me out with some tutorials, how to listen to the Incoming connection pushed from the server to the Client.

I am a newbie to Google android and I have very less knowledge about this.

Its Like I want to know the use of android.content.BroadcastReceiver. for an external incoming connection(Like some data pushed from the server to my device).
