Edit application database

Postby abdo19 » Fri Feb 05, 2010 7:51 am

Hi all,

How can I edit an SQLite database after it has been created and stored on my phone together with the corresponding app?

I want to add a new column to the database but I can't figure out how.
Is it possible to do this in code?

I tried to just update it by adding the column, but then the app fails at compile time with the following Exception:

android.database.sqlite.SQLiteException: There is no column named type in the table Locations

(type is the name of the column )

is there any solution?

Thanks in advance
