Download of a file from a web server

Postby daliz » Wed Nov 25, 2009 7:31 pm

Hi,

I've been for the past 4-5 hours searching for a way to download a generic file and store it on the sdcard.

It's the last step of an app I'm writing and I thought it was an easy task or at least that I could easily find infos on the net... I was wrong! I'm lost in FileStreams, InputStreams, HttpClients... I'm not getting anywhere :(

Could you help me please?

I simply have to make my app download a file from http://www.example.com/file.dat and store it on the sdcard.

Thank you :)
