Accessing online databases

Postby ajwhite » Tue Feb 09, 2010 1:40 am

Hi there --
I'm new to android developing, I have plenty of experience in other design however.

So I've done the google tutorials, I understand how to create a database like the notepad uses.

However, the application I'm planning on creating should access an already existing database that holds current data entries.

It seems that the NotePad example access a local database that is stored client side? I'd like a server-side database that I can retrieve from.. how do I go about this? Any links or pointers in the right direction would be awesome.

Thanks in advance guys :)
