The Nabi 2 is the successor to Fuhu's popular Nabi tablet, which designed especially for Kids that lets Kids watch their favorite movies and TV shows. If your movie isn't already in one of the supported formats or it's still on a DVD or Blu-ray, you'll need to encode/re-encode it first. There are apps for that, below, I will share you an easy way to bring home movies including Blu-ray, DVD and 1080p/720 MKV, AVI, VOB files to Nabi/Nabi 2 tablet. Keep reading for a brief how-to on the process.

Requirements

Before anything else, you have to download two apps that you are going to use later. You are required to download and install:

P.S. The quick start guide below uses the movie converter Windows(Windows 8 included) screenshots. The way to converting movies to GNabi/Nabi 2 tablet on Mac is almost the same. Just make sure you get the right version according to your computer operating system.

1. Import source media

Once run the Nabi Utimate Blu-ray Video Converter software, click "Add Video" to load video files like MTS/M2TS, MKV, VOB, MOV, TOD, TiVo, etc or click on "BD/DVD disc" icon to load movie from DVD and Blu-ray source(Disc, folder, ISO).

2. Select the suitable output video format

Click "Format" bar and move mouse to "Android" column, you can easily find the profile of "Nook Color(*.mp4)". This profile is specially designed for Nook color, but still suitable for the Nabi 2 Tablet.

Tip: Click on Settings you could easily set bitrate, frame rate, codec, channels, sample rate, etc to adjust parameters that affect video quality and file size for the video you prefer. After that, you can click on "Save as" to rename the profile, such as "Nabi Tablet (*.mp4)". Next time, you can easily find it in "Custom" category.

3. Start the conversion

After above steps, just click "Convert" to begin ripping Blu-ray/DVD and 1080p/720p videos to Nabi highly compatible MP4 videos.

Once the process completes, download and transfer the converted videos to your Nabi or Nabi 2. In this way, you can easily enjoy Blu-ray/DVD movies and 1080p MKV, VOB, TiVo, AVI, MPG videos on Nabi/Nabi 2 tablet smoothly anytime, anywhere.
