This tutorial shows you how to rip and convert DVD to Samsung Galaxy Note II supported video formats easily and fast so that you can play DVD movie on Galaxy Note 2 on the go.

Samsung Galaxy Note II features a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED screen, a blazing quad-core processor and support for playing HD videos up to 1080p. The 1,280x720-pixel resolution translates into a wide-screen 16:9 aspect ratio rather than the 16:10 aspect ratio of the first Note. That helps it fit right in with more standard graphics and video playback. If you have some DVD movie collections, you may just want to put your favorite DVD movies on Galaxy Note 2 so that you can enjoy the movies on the go.

However, as we know, Samsung Galaxy Note 2 cannot play DVD directly because it doesn't have a DVD drive. According to Samsung official website, the Jelly Bean smartphone supports MPEG4, H.263, H.264, DivX, XviD and WMV videos. To play DVD movies on Galaxy Note 2, you will need to rip the DVD movies to Galaxy Note 2 compatible video formats first.

There are numerous DVD ripping software that can help you convert DVD to Galaxy Note 2 compatible video files such as MP4 and WMV. Among them, Brorsoft DVD conversion software (currently on sale during the Christmas and New Year Specials) stands out because of its ease-to-use, stability and high output video quality. With it, you can fast rip DVD to Galaxy Note 2 friendly MP4 video files with smart editing features. Besides MP4 and WMV, it can also convert DVD movies to other popular video formats like AVI, MKV, MOV, FLV, ASF, MPG, etc. while cracking the DVD CSS and region code protection. If you are a Mac user, please turn to DVD ripper Mac to transfer your DVD movies to Galaxy Note 2 on OS X Leopard (10.5), Snow Leopard (10.6), Lion (10.7), Mountain Lion (10.8). ISO and IFO files are also supported. After the movies are loaded, you can preview them on the right viewing window and adjust volume or take snapshots freely.

Step 2: Select output video format for Galaxy Note 2. Click "Format" bar, you can get the optimized videos for Galaxy Note 2 under Samsung > Samsung Galaxy Note(*.mp4). The output videos could fit on your device perfectly.

According to my experience, for watching videos on Samsung Galaxy Note or Note 2, 720p with 1000~2000kbps is just all right. I found bitrate higher results in big file size, and lower visible quality loss, and vice versa.
