Summary: Have some DVD movies and want to watch DVD movie on Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0? Follow the simple tutorial to rip and convert DVD to Galaxy Note 8.0 highly compatible video files with best video quality.

So you recently bought a Galaxy Note 8.0 and want to play your favorite DVD movies on the Jelly Bean gadget? Of course, as with all tablets, Galaxy Note 8.0 can't play DVD movies. To watch DVD movies on Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0, you need to convert DVD to Galaxy Note 8.0 compatible video formats first and then transfer the converted video files to your Galaxy Note tablet. It's easy to do with a professional DVD to Galaxy Note converter.

DVD Ripping Software varies. You may confused about choosing a most suitable tool. If so, i recommend you try Brorsoft DVD Ripper. It is easy to use for editing and conversion and makes great quality copies of my DVDs. To be honest, the DVD to Galaxy Note Converter can help you rip and convert all the DVD Discs even DVD iso/ifo image files. The audio/video synchronization is very good, the size of the subtitles too. The equivalent Mac version is Brorsoft DVD Ripper Mac, which can rip and convert DVD movies to Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 on Mac OS X (Include Lion and Mountain Lion). Just get it now and follow the steps below to copy DVD movies to Galaxy Note 8.0 for smoothly playing!

How to Convert DVD movies to Galaxy Note 8.0 compatible video formats

The quick start guide below uses DVD Ripper Windows screenshots. The way to rip DVD movies to Galaxy Note 8.0 on Mac is almost the same. Just make sure you get the right version according to your computer operating system.

Step 1: Add DVD movies

Start the Brorsoft DVD Converter and click DVD disc icon to load source DVD movies. If you have backup the entire DVD disc on hard drive, you can also click DVD Folder button to load the movie folder.

Step 2: Choose output format.

Click "Format" bar, here I recommend you "Samsung > Samsung Galaxy Note(*.mp4)". The output videos could fit on Galaxy Note 8.0 perfectly.

Tip: If you like, you can click "Settings" to change the video encoder, resolution, frame rate, etc. as you wish. Remember the file size and video quality is based more on bitrate than resolution which means bitrate higher results in big file size, and lower visible quality loss. According to my experience, for watching videos on the Galaxy Note 8.0, 720p with 1500~2000kbps is just all right. Below is the best video format settings for Galaxy Note 8.0 per my experience.

Step 3: Start the DVD to Galaxy Note 8.0 conversion

When you are satisfied with all the settings, you can click "Convert" and let the software do the DVD to Galaxy Note 8.0 MP4 conversion. After the ripping, you can click "Open" to locate the converted MP4 video files and just transfer them to your Galaxy Note 8.0 without limitation!

Tip: Before start the conversion, you can also select your preferred subtitles for your movie from the Subtitles option.

Additional Tips:

If you are considering to get a powerful all-in-one tool to convert videos, Blu-ray movies and DVDs to your Galaxy Note 8.0 or other devices like iPad, Google Nexus 10/7, Kindle Fire HD, Samsung Galaxy Note 2, Galaxy S3, Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 at the same saving time and effort, the all-in-one Blu-ray Video Converter Ultimate program will a nice choice for you. If you are running a Mac OS X computer, iMedia Converter Mac is the alternative.
