The car will be driven by Britain's Allan McNish for what he hopes will be his third Le Mans 24 Hours endurance race victory next June.

This latest sports-prototype marks the first time a "closed" cockpit sports car has been raced by the "factory" Audi Sport Team Joest outfit.
