I can confirm that it is impossible to make a test recording video with the emulator (An error in the log is generated, and tested on emulator 1.1, 1.5 and 2.0 on the real application of the emulator : Camera or Camcorder). And on my mobile (Hero on 1.5), my application works !
So, it is possible to take pictures (fictitious of course).

Hello every one, and most improtantantly, JoyLakh. I tried the code shown by JoyLakh, it worked but doesn't have any sound.Do any one know how to make the video recoder also produce sound. I tested the code with HTC and the sound did not work, only the video recording worked. Can any one help about this issue?
Secondly, Is it opsible to put the "Start" "Stop" button on the screen instead of menu?
