Saving an image with a target file size

Postby PolliSoft » Fri Apr 23, 2010 9:54 am

Hi,

In my application, I want to be able to save an image to a specified file size. I.e. I want a dynamic comression rate depending on the width and height of the image.
Is this possible to do?

/Cheers

images can only be saved to Camera supported Picture Sizes.

you can get a list of them through the Camera.getParameters().getSupportedPictureSizes(). The list returned is a List<Size>. you can find out more through the Android SDK
