problems with pcm files...

Hi

I am using MediaPlayer for playing sounds...
it all works well if I use AMR files, but if I use PCM (headerless) I get the following error:
12-06 00:06:14.613: ERROR/MediaPlayer(9122): error (-4, 0)
which I fear means that PCM format is not supported

does anybody knows if MediaPlayer can be used to play this kind of files (PCM, headerless)?
if not, what is it the best solution?

Thanks
JJ
