iphone scrolling is like spring.

but android's not like that.

Maybe its not when looking at the emulator on slow hardware.
On my device (and on my emulators) the scrolling IS very smoth and "physical" (starting fast and then slows down).

But just compare this with IPhone.

I Think Scrolling in IPhone is better than Android.

tried out both iPhone and Android (htc magic), and I don't notice a difference.
The difference i experience on iPhone is to zoom in and out (pictures, webpages, ...) but this is patented by iPhone.

The Android is not the iPhone. The specific "look" of the scroll is, and should be, unique to the platform. That said, I don't notice any performance differences between the scrolls unless the Android phone (G1) is being stressed to populate a really long/complex list while you're scrolling. Then it stutters. Not sure if this occurs on the iPhone. Haven't tested Droid yet.

Let me phrase it this way:
I've driven both BMW's and Audi's. The BMW grill looks pretty but the Audi's not like that.

I've used Mac and Linux. The Mac looks smooth but Linux's not like that.

Apples to Oranges. Don't expect the exact same thing from different platforms.
