Image orientation query

Postby spengilley » Mon Nov 08, 2010 7:21 pm

Hi all,

My HTC legend saves my portrait images rotated -90 degrees (landscape). Is there a way to tell whether or not a given image was taken as portrait or landscape? I tried comparing width and height of the image but that didn't work (because all photos display in lanscape, the portrait ones rotated). I already have the code sussed to rotate the image but I need to make sure that it is in fact an image that NEEDS to be rotated.

Any ideas appreciated
