How to make surfaceview insensitive to touch events

Hi,

When i am running mediaplayer, i want the surfaceview to be insensitive to motion events. I tried mSurfaceView.setFocusableInTouchMode(false); but its not working.. please guide me in this..

What about overriding onTouchEvent method?

How about: setClickable(boolean)? ...

dispatchTouchEvent(MotionEvent event) is supposed to be even better, because it save a couple of steps :).
