I've just begun the migration from iPhone to Android and - though I have a lot of coding and game creation experience - I'm still learning a lot about Android. My first game for Android is going to use openGLES and as such I have a few very basic non-openGLES questions.
1) There are a lot of different android devices out there. When people here create applications, how many layouts do they test on?
2) Of these layouts, what are the extremes of resolution people support?
I'm expecting to have to use a virtual coordinate system, but a bit more information would be really helpful, even if it's only a 'go and read this, idiot' prod.
