I started working on a new project, and I am having a few issues now. I am working on a side scroller game, but when I hit the collision detection stuff I began to have issues, not because of the collision detection, but how the bitmaps are being printed. I need the bitmaps to be printed based on the dimensions of the background bitmap rather than the screen, for example, my background bitmap is 1000x1000 pixels, so when I print a bitmap it has to be within the screens dimensions, which causes issues with jumping and scrolling.
Is there anyway I can make it so when I put something like canvas.drawBitmap(Example, 0, 990, paint); to make it print at the bottom of the bitmap rather than way off the screen?
