Binding to MediaPlayback Service in Android 2.3

Postby swapnil dalal » Thu Oct 06, 2011 8:15 am

Hi All,

I am developing an application to get Metadata of currently playing song in Android.

In Froyo code I was able to get my task done by binding with MediaPlayback Service, but in GingerBread, it is giving security exception as this is service is now local to application.

Is there any way to bind with this service or any other way by which I can get the METADATA of currently playing audio file?

Thanks in Advance.
Thanks & Best Regards;
