Hi all,

I was rather pleased to be granted a moto droid (Verizon) for a development project I'm involved with which I'm looking forward to receiving and playing with and comparing to my current G1.

My only concern is I'm in Europe and I know the moto droid only works (radio) in the U.S whereas the Milestone is Europes version so I'm curious as whether this is a hardware difference or software and if software whether it would be possible to install a radio stack that works in Europe.

If anyone has any knowledge of this they could share I'd really appreciate it.

I'm fr and there no radio on my motorola droid. OS version is 1.5 under an orange skin (motoblur)
but a great phone

Indeed a great phone. and the new Android 2.1 software update provides new multimedia features, cool new widgets and a security upgrade. happy upgrading.
