Possible Anti Theft Application - Website Login

Postby Lordsnoutimus » Sat Oct 17, 2009 12:49 pm

Hi guys,

I have an idea for an android application, I know there are some already out there with a similar idea but I just wanted to ask for your opinions..

Basically my application will be installed on the android device, broadcast the gps coordinates to a web server then show them on a website overlayed on googlemaps.

Is this possible to do? storing the coordinates from the phone in a database and allow the user to see them online through a website?

Thanks,
