I have an question in my mind about google mapview that we access to get the geo-location accesses which protocol?
What are authentication level internally it needs to pass through? I am aware of the obtaining apiKey that I need to provide while I use mapview attribute in layout xml.

Some in-depth clarification with documentation if provided would be grateful.
