If you aren't getting your exact location then you have to register you location then everyone can see your exact location.

Hi,

You can send the GPS location form the DDMS windows.

1) To be able to use the Emulator control, you need to create an AVD with hw.gps support.

2) Go to “Emulator Control” window –> Manual
There you can insert the Coordinates one by one and then send.

Good Luck,

set a listener on the button which starts the location manager.

I have set up a class MyLocationListener which implements LocationListener

then I override the onLocationChanged() method, basically telling it that the first location it gets it appends to the textview and then it removes the location manager.

First, search for a location, or click and hold a location on the Google Maps screen. (Remember: To accurately record your current location, be sure to turn on your phone's GPS first.) After the map shows the address or location, click on the bubble above the pin to open an info page about that place.
