Showing many points at map

Postby antonioxerez » Mon Mar 21, 2011 9:37 pm

Hi everybody ! My name is Antonio, i am an student from Spain, and i want to make an Android Project and i need you.
I had been reading many posts in many forums about showing points on google maps, but, mixing code from developer.google(http://developer.android.com/resources/ ... pview.html) and from forums did not result as i expected.
My app connects to a "central server" and this central server sends to my app every 5 secs an ArrayList with 10 points (obviosusly with their coordinates latittude and longitude).
I want my app to show that points.
I achieved the app shows my location ONLY, i can't show more points... Im getting crazy ...
Please , probably, with a simple example ... or a code ... Thank you very much.

Hola gente!
Muchas Gracias.

Got it ! I don't know why, but from a thread i can't call one method called "showMap()", (the app crash) but i can call the handler (handler.sendemptymessage(x)) and the handler calls the showMap()
Anyway, i have other doubt, but i'm gonna open other Post !
Thank u anyways friends !
