Does anyone know where I can find a (very) simple tutorial for getting the location the android emulator spits out during it's San Francisco path in SDK 1.0? getCurrentLocation does not work anymore. I know it's been replaced with getLastKnownLocation but I'm not exactly sure how to use this. I am new to android and have a basic-intermediate knowledge of Java. If someone could link a tutorial or even post some code it would be very helpful.

Great tutorial; very straight forward and it has all the coding and instructions you need, including how to send custom locations to the emulator. I was having serious trouble finding any up-to-date gps stuff but this was exactly what I was looking for.
