Occasionally GPS coordinates wrong

Postby jbrohan » Sat Oct 16, 2010 4:49 pm

Hi
I have a project to record the GPS coordinates every 5 minutes. Today I placed my whole dog-walk a thousand miles to the West. It is usually very close to correct, about 1/1000 is wrong. Today it got 6 points quite wrong. Any ideas? Why would it sometimes be wrong. It's cloudy today???
