Nikon D5300 is an upper entry-level DSLR that improves on the D5200 by removing the optical low-pass filter (OLPF) from its 24MP CMOS sensor, and featuring true 60p HD video capability, and a slightly larger 3.2in side-articulated 1.0M-dot tilt/swivel LCD. The D5300 features a 39-point AF system, based around the same Multi-Cam 4800DX AF sensor that is used in the D7100, and the same 2016-pixel RGB metering sensor. The D5300 is Nikon’s first DSLR to feature built-in Wi-Fi and GPS.But this MOV video format came from Nikon D5300 is a long GOP format that is highly compressed, it is not a good editing format. So you will not playback or edit smoothly the highly compressed MOV on your editing software, like: Adobe Premiere Pro CS5/CS6/CC7 , Sony Vegas , Windows Moive Maker.etc

To help Nikon D5300 owners get rid of this trouble, I will show you the easiest and quickest way to convert Nikon D5300 MOV files to WMV for Adobe Premiere Pro CS5/CS6/CC7.

Step 1. Load H.264 MOV files into aPubsoft Nikon D5300 Video Converter.

Drag and drop specified MOV files from hard drive to Nikon D5300 Video Converter from aPubsoft or click “Add” button on the menu bar to import video recordings. Batch video files are allowed to load, joining several video files into big one can be realized by just selecting all the files in the filelist and then click “Merge”.

Step 2.Choose Adobe Premiere WMV/MPG as output format.

Click “Format” option and choose HD Video -> HD WMV Video (*.mov) , MPG as the out put format. With this option, the output video will be kept as high definition 1920×1080.

Step 3. Set video and audio parameters to get high quality of output file.

Click “Settings” button and you are allowed to custom several parameters. I suggest that you should set size, bitrate and frame rate exactly the same as the original video recordings. In this way, you will suffer the least loss of video quality.

Step 4. Start the conversion from Nikon D5300 MOV to WMV/MPG for Adobe Premiere Pro CS5/CS6/CC7.

Hit the “Convert” button under the preview button and this Windows Nikon D5300 MOV Converter will start this conversion immediately.

After a while the .wmv , .mpg, file will be ready in the output folder. Just run Adobe Premiere Pro CS5/CS6/CC7 and import the .wmv/.mpg file for video editing. The output videos are compatible with other editing software like Windows Movie Marker, Kdenlive, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects and Roxio Toast.etc.
