Could someone please clear this up for me?
First of all, I've tried finding the answer. I've spent hours searching, reading articles, and playing, but I still don't seem to understand mock locations.
I've got them working (somewhat) on the emulator using DDMS. I can load a GPX / KML file and send it to the emulator to start simulating location changes. Can you do this with the device? Everytime I try to send it to my actual device, the panel is disabled in Eclipse and therefore I can't send anything. I don't understand why, I've checked "Allow Mock Locations" in Settings -> Applications -> Development.
There must be a simple way to use DDMS to send mock locations to an actual device. Could someone please outline the steps for using mock locations on an actual device?
