Map cell tower radius overlay

Postby chich » Tue Oct 05, 2010 7:17 am

hey guys,

im trying to create an overlay image onto my google maps object to represent something similar to like a quarantine zone...and then i realised what im after exactly the purple circular image google maps draws by default when its trying to determine your position via cell towers (pic below). i think on my htc that radius thingy is actually purple...but it honestly doesnt phase me in the slightest.

anyone have any ideas on how i can bring that up or force draw or something? my app only uses the GPS position, so there wouldnt be a problem of having overlap or anything like that.

cheers
