Location problem

Hello forum, I don't know if I posted in the wrong section, if I did move the post or delete it.
I made an app which gets the location from GPS and from the Wi-FI and I have an issue regarding the locations obtained by the Wi-Fi , even if I turn off the Wi-Fi and ask the location I still get it, it is the same as the last one got from the Wi-Fi this shouldn't happen... Could you tell me how to solve this issue?
P.S. I used the "removeUpdates" but it doesn't appear to work properly.
