Getting the MD5 Fingerprint of the SDK Debug Certificate

Postby Implode » Sat Apr 24, 2010 10:57 pm

I have tried the example from the android site

$ keytool -list -alias androiddebugkey
-keystore <path_to_debug_keystore>.keystore
-storepass android -keypass android

but cmd says access is denied.

I have changed the admin control to full, still denied to get the MD5 fingerprint

Any help appreciated.

Thanks in advance

i hope you didnt try that comand with the $ in there lol

since you said CMD i am going to assume you have windows...

your debug key should be here
# Windows Vista: C:Users<user>.androiddebug.keystore
# Windows XP: C:Documents and Settings<user>.androiddebug.keystore

then its just... assuming you set your PATH

Code: Select all
keytool -list -alias androiddebugkey
-keystore <path_to_debug_keystore>.keystore
-storepass android -keypass android
