FIX| Could not find class 'com.google.android.maps.GeoPoint'

Postby joeymashburn » Fri Feb 19, 2010 4:24 am

One one machine, everything seems fine. On my other machine, this one, I get this really awkward error.

02-18 22:21:51.246: ERROR/dalvikvm(270): Could not find class 'com.google.android.maps.GeoPoint', referenced from method com.mashburn.utils.MapFunctions.getGeoPoint
02-18 22:21:51.257: WARN/dalvikvm(270): VFY: unable to resolve new-instance 35 (Lcom/google/android/maps/GeoPoint;) in Lcom/mashburn/utils/MapFunctions;
02-18 22:21:51.257: WARN/dalvikvm(270): VFY: rejecting opcode 0x22 at 0x0015
02-18 22:21:51.257: WARN/dalvikvm(270): VFY: rejected Lcom/mashburn/utils/MapFunctions;.getGeoPoint (Ljava/lang/String;Ljava/lang/String;)Z
02-18 22:21:51.257: WARN/dalvikvm(270): Verifier rejected class Lcom/mashburn/utils/MapFunctions;

I have the package imported and it doesn't throw an error asif it can't find it. It's very weird. Everything seems to be up to date. Why would it be saying that it can't find the class even though I can look and see it's referenced and the import doesn't throw an error?

I'm using Eclipse.

FIXED::

Apparently, my manifest got messed up a little.

"<uses-library android:name="com.google.android.maps" />"

Must be in the application tab. My Eclipse must've moved it or something.
