[newbie] display information from a DB on a map

Postby Alex V » Tue May 05, 2009 10:49 am

Hello guys,

I'm new to Android... (But I know some PHP and some Mysql)

I'd like to write an application that would get information from a web database (restaurants location) and display it on a map.

The data should then be saved on the device... and there will be a 'sync' button to get newer information from the web database.

Do you think it would be easily doable ?

Any pointers ? Where do I start ?

Thanks !

Alex
